What is Permanent Make Up ?
Permanent make-up (also referred to as micropigmentation, cosmetic tattooing & micropigmentation) is a cosmetic procedure to create long-lasting eyeliner, lip liner or eyebrow definition.
It achieves this by implanting a specialised pigment (not the same as tattoo ink) into the second (dermal layer) of the skin. Tattooing is a permanent process, however, over time it may fade so will require some “topping up” or “boosting”.
Permanent make up is a 2 step process and you should expect to have 2 treatments 4 – 6 weeks apart in order to complete the full treatment.
